kanikapila

Local Word of the Day is "kanikapila." Your local style Jam Session. Size no matter, just get some uncles and aunties together under one roof and they start jammin'. Beware of hosting one of these 'cause no mo' time limit: can be couple hours or couple weeks. "Ho, brah you should've been to my house, we wen' kanikapila all night." "I know, I wen' call da cops, but cops not shutting down one party when only kupunas involved."

Why would u want to miseducate people with our'olelo? why is it for white people? Disturbing that ur definitions are so far off what our language intends. Propagandic and pandering to the white people.irraz.

P.s. there is no such word as kanikapila.u must understand "kani" and "pila" totally separate words. This why famous Amos now call calls himself thecookiekahuna. These are not LOCAL WORDS.they are HAWAIIAN.show respect to our mother tongue, we are not some slang built on colloquialisms.
