Local Word of the Day

is "kokua." My tutu used to say, "Many hands make light work." Locals working together can get plenty done. Whether it's preparing for a luau, organizing community events, cleaning grandma's yard, or winning a football game, it's more meaningful (and easier) if it's done together. No be shame to accept/ask for help when you need it. And no be lazy/selfish to help somebody.
