ohana

is "ohana." Locals know Ohana means family, but where does ohana exist? Ohana exists when there is a balance between husband and wife; balance between parent and children. Ohana is where there is love, service and sacrifice. Love is in a bruised okole; service is in a shaka and smile after some kokua; locals sacrifice money and material things so we can see our legacy (children) live for a greater tomorrow.
