#26 Trucks
Hawaiians have probably shown an interest in trucks from the time they first showed up in the islands. The versatility of these vehicles, its strength and style are essentials that Hawaiians utilize to do a variety of things. We use them for everything: from taking the kids to school to taking the family camping on the weekend; from mountain to the ocean; from cruising through the stretch down in Waikiki to hauling your garbage to the dump on the Big Island. Not to be mistaken for just being the workhorse of the farm, trucks are much more than being the strong backs that carries all the hard laboring tasks for us, Hawaiians. We pimp these rides out so bad you would forget about doing anything near dirt, sand or rain. For some, nothing but the most expensive rims, the most stylish paint jobs and decals. You can find everything from GPS (like you need that), DVD players, screens in the front and back seats, and video gaming consoles. Owners will lift their trucks so high its a workout just to get their chicks into the passenger seat or they will drop their trucks so low it takes 5 minutes to get over a speed bump. The greatest thing is Trucks aren't discriminant of their owners either. In Hawaii, every kind of Hawaiian owns a truck or wants to someday. Rich, poor, male, female and every mix of Hawaiian you can think of; every profession from cops to grocery clerks all own trucks. das wat stay Hawaiian iz.
