#5 Chinese
Almost every Hawaiian has some Chinese. What does that mean? Ask a Hawaiian what ethnicities they are and 9 out of 10 times they with say, Hawaiian and then some where in the mix, Chinese. Back in the old plantation days, many of the plantation workers married Hawaiian women and sometimes vice versa. But today we certainly find many of the Hawaiians with names like Fong, Wong, Chin, Ching, Chang, Chong, Lim, Lum, Lee, Lau, and Kim...just to name a few. Try having a roll call with a group of guys claiming to be Hawaiian. eh! You know they stay Hawaiian...but they just have Chinese names.

Kim's Korean, but Chang and Lee could be, too. I've been thought to be Chinese by many people even though I'm of Japanese ancestry. Haven't been mistaken for Hawaiian yet ...
