Tutu Hamana: The Shaka Sign Story by Robert Lono 'Ikuwa is a book about the history and origin of the shaka hand sign, also known as the "Hang Loose." It's a book created by a friend of mine with the combined efforts of several other Hawaiians. His example has shown me the need for Hawaiians to tell their stories both big and small. This simple book is near and dear to my heart because of my own family history and relation to the man and legend Hamana Kalili.
