"try-"

Local Word of the Day is "try." Locals wen' learn the word "please" late but if a local says "try" and you nevah hear "please," the local just went say "please." "Braddah, try pass dakine..mahalo." "Ay, Sistah, try wait..not yo' turn yet." "Honey, try listen fo' one sec'ken." "Try talk loudah!" "Like try get married." When locals says "trying," no mean the same thing. Often heard, "W'ot you trying fo' do/say.."
