Local Word of the Day is "lomi lomi salmon." The red, icy, oniony, salty "adopted" Hawaiian Food. Now, before you-folks start ranting about what I just wrote...try wait. Tomatoes, salmon, onion, ice or foil pans are Not Hawaiian. But this food is filled with such Good Vibes...gotta be Local! It's pretty good with rice and even more better with poi. "Honey Girl, go stand next to Junior and serve da lomi salmon!" Luau Style eh!
