furikake

is "furikake." The Furikake Poem: When Rice is what I choose to eat; With a meal, or as a treat; I look for seaweed and sesame seeds; To bite and crunch between my teet'; 'Cause it's lil'bit sour and lil'bit sweet; And NO make me fut like pork and beans; I Don't put shoyu on my rice!; Or else I get bad looks from Grandma's eyes; I save the shoyu for sushi; And watch the polka-dot smiles on all the Japanese.
