honi
LWOD is "honi." It means to kiss. So, it's what maddahz tell kids when they first catch sight of tutu. Handshakes can be deceiving, but honi's are so real. Locals greet, say goodbye, love, and forgive with a kiss. We pray and after we done we honi. But the magic of it all is when Locals honi...it's like for a moment we are breathing the same air. Where else is it acceptable for men to honi each other?
