Local Word of the Day

is "Waipio." Before you make (die) this is one place every local should go down and see. There is Waipio Gentry on Oahu, and there is Waipio Valley on Big Island--das where I'm talking about: Beautiful waterfalls, black sand beaches, hiking trails, Hawaiian people that still practice the traditional ways of growing kalo (taro) and a mana (spirit) that words can't describe. Waipio means "curved waters."
