Yeah, White Chicks, just like the movie. But really, Hawaiian guys love haole girls. White chicks that come to Hawaii on vacation, or for school, or for a wedding are fair game to any local braddah. You'll see the local guys everywhere, from the airport to the drivers, from the driver to the bellman, from the bellman to the pool attendant, from the pool attendant to the waiter, from the waiter to the guy behind the bar, from the bartender to the bouncer, from the bouncer to the every local braddah in the club, and from there to any where on the island until you get back to the airport.
100% of local Hawaiian guys check out haole wahines (white chicks). Hawaiians are immune to white fever. We don't need to acquire the taste of white oats or become white-a-fide. We aren't infatuated by media's white chick stigma. So why do we like um? Well, plainly speaking, white girls are more fun. They're outdoorsy. Of course, many of them come from the mainland so they don't know how to surf, local guys can easily take advantage of this desire. Hiking to a waterfall, or go on a circle island road trip always seems really adventurous and it's all free. Local guys love that.
Another reason is, they're rarely ever alone. They always have some friend with them. Sure some are crazy enough to meet a local guy alone, but most times they have a friend or two and that's just great, since it plays in favor of the male. In the numbers game...face it, more white girls than local Hawaiian girls.
Another reason Hawaiians are crazy about haole chicks, is because they look good in shorts and even better in that bikini they've just been dying to wear since getting out of the snow. Obviously, white chicks come in all kinds of shapes and sizes but amazingly, they are never shame to wear a two-piece and expose all that skin...some girls more than others. In contrast, a lot of local chicks are still swimming in t-shirts at the beach no matter how big or small their bodies are. It never ceases to amaze Hawaiians that haole girls are willing to show more skin.
However, painful it is to admit there is a dark truth that we, Hawaiian braddahs cannot ignore... Hawaiian girls love checking out Haole guys.

Hawaiian girls like the Haole boys because they are "Gentlemen." When they ask you to dance, they come up to you and actually ask politely, "Would you do the honor and dance with me?" Vs. Hawaiian boy: Once the girl looks you in the eyes, he makes a movement with his head that means, "Let's go dance." A Haole boy will rush to open and hold the door for a lady. A Hawaiian boy will wait for the lady to open the door for herself. Most importantly, the Haole boy's dates are much more romantic and fun like a picnic on the beach or play miniature golf. Hawaiian boys take you to the movies or to the beach to watch them surf.
Ruth, I don't know if I would consider my Christian a Haole or a Hawaiian. He is a Haole that grew up in the Hawaiian culture, so he is definitely more similar to the Hawaiian way of dating, beach every weekend to watch him surf. We have been doing that since 2001. I don't mind it because I love the beach, but we definitely need to change it up a little. I hear you though sistah!
And as far as those haole girls being more fun, that's just another urban legend. :)
Having never been a haole chick but an observer of them, it seems that Polynesian men in general have an affinity for "white meat" (putting it strongly and somewhat rudely for which I apologize). I had a few haole roommates who dated Tongans and Samoans. I think I know what it is ... on both sides they're something new, like a new toy, and the men just love the attention they get from the girls ... it's our duty as local girls to warn them of those Hawaiian men!
